Understanding

I open to spiritual understanding.

If I face a relationship challenge, I may wonder, Why is this happening? Why do others act as they do? But judging others’ behaviors and motives will not bring me deep understanding. I could ask instead, How can I open my heart? What is mine to do?
I pray for understanding and for intuition to recognize what might be lying beneath the surface. I trust the wisdom and guidance I receive. I open my heart and mind to seeing my loved one from a new perspective. As I listen to their views, empathize with them, and “walk a mile in their shoes,” I am able to more fully understand my loved one—and myself. Understanding builds a bridge and brings peace to my relationships.

Jesus Is A Kind Friend to All of Us

Everyone needs a true friend in their life, to help celebrate the good times and be there for the bad times. Friends, however, sometimes fall short of our expectations and we soon experience the pain of disappointment. Just remember, we do have a kind friend in Jesus always. He is the most perfect and kind friend to have in one's life. We need not look any further, Jesus loves us all unconditionally.

Be Blessed

An Emotional Heart

Dear Lord,

As I come to you today, I thank you for hearing my prayer when my heart is full of pain and emotions. Thank you father for holding me in the times when I feel lonely and cleansing my heart.  You have always been the one to catch my tears and turn them into joy. Even when I am not at my best you take my burdens and show me unconditional love in all aspects of my life. For that I am grateful. Amen

Be Blessed.

Grace

Lord, over and over I have seen You work. It is Your sweet, pure grace regardless of how I mess things up or fail. Your grace redeems the bad days and gives me energy to walk into to good days. Your grace is full of love. Thank you. Amen

A Prayer For Loving Families

Dear Father, You teach us that we are to love one another unreservedly. The love You give us for others goes beyond our own natural inclinations. It is a love that motivates us to give without expecting anything in return. More often than not we fall short of extending this kind of love to our spouse and other loved ones. Only with Your continued help can we set aside our own expectations and learn to love the way You intend by always protecting, always trusting, always hoping, and always persevering with those You’ve brought into our lives. Amen.     ~Bible Verse ~

A Prayer of Forgiveness

Dear Lord,

Please help me to open my heart and soul to forgive those that have hurt me or have taken a loved one from me for reasons, I do not understand. Help me be patient with myself, and my emotions to take one day at a time to forgive and continue to believe in your love and grace. Stand beside me, guide me and continue to rule my heart with love and peace. I thank you for helping me in my time of need to have the strength and wisdom to forgive them.  Amen

For Love

O Lord, you have brought all your faithful people into a single, universal family, stretching across heaven and earth. Bind us together with a spiritual love which is stronger than any human love, that is in serving one another we may count neither the cost nor seek reward, but think only of the common good.

( The Harper Collins  Book of Prayers compiled by Robert Van de Weyer - Mozarabic Sacrmentary)

A Mother's Prayer

Help me dear Lord, as a mother, I pray
And bless these hands folded in prayer today;
May they be ever strong as they guide, as they teach,
Beings never too far for a child to reach.
May they never, with selfishness, try to dissuade,
Nor too quickly punish, nor too slowly aid.
May they point out the pleasures in laughter and song,
And may they show, wisely, the right from the wrong,
So that one day I'll know that I've helped all I can
To make her a woman, to make him a man.

Hail Holy Queen Prayer

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our Life, our Sweetness, and our Hope.
To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To Thee do we send up our sighs mourning
and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
Thine Eyes of Mercy toward us,
and after this our exile show us the
Blessed Fruit of thy Womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Easter Poem

Easter is a promise God renews to us each spring

A promise that we’ll always have Him there,

And like the flowers that bloom so bright

And birds that sweetly sing,

We always will receive His tender care,

A promise that He’ll hold us up

Each time we start to fall

And see us through each hour of care and strife.

Easter is God’s promise

That His love rules over all,

And through Him

We will have eternal life.

Humility

Humility is the foundation of all the other virtues hence, in the soul in which this virtue does not exist there cannot be any other virtue except in mere appearance.

Happiness

Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.

Forgiveness

"Sincere forgiveness isn't colored with expectations that the other person apologize or change. Don't worry whether or not they finally understand you. Love them and release them. Life feeds back truth to people in its own way and time." ~Sara Paddison~

Miracles Occur Naturally As An Expression of Love

Miracles occur naturally as an expression of love.
The real miracle is the love that inspire them.
In this sense, everything that comes from love is a miracle.

A Christmas Heart

Let us remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first. The birth of the baby Jesus stands as the most significant event in all history, because it has meant the pouring into a sick world of the healing medicine of love which has transformed all manner of hearts for almost two thousand years... Underneath all the bulging bundles is this beating Christmas heart.

Christmas

Christmas - that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance - a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved.
